1 | Canon EOS 30D
My main tool, the 30D is a great all round DSLR offering 8.2 MP CMOS sensor, 5fps, 30 JPEG image burst, picture style image processing 2.5" LCD, Spot metering, 9-point AF and a tough magnesium alloy body.
2 | Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX DG HSM
A very versatile lens, high magnification ultra telephoto zoom lens, with a 10x zoom ratio from 50mm to 500mm, optimized for digital SLR cameras. It's my first choice for wildlife photography and is perfect for a walk-about lens.

3 | Canon EOS 350D
I use the 350D as a back-up camera, I also use it when I'm out in the field using the 30D for telephoto photography, I hook the 350D up with a wide angle lens so I can quickly switch between telephoto and wide angle photography without having to change lens.
4 | Sigma 10-20mm f4.0-5.6 EX DC HSM
Super wide angle zoom lens designed for digital SLR cameras with APS-C sized sensors. Perfect for super wide-angle photography, it is a very powerful tool for indoor shooting and landscape photography. This is a lens that I always carry with me.
5 | Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
One of Canon's sharpest lenses and the 100mm focal length means that you can remain a reasonable distance away from the subject as not to disturb it and still get very close views. Fast & quiet auto focusing and easy to use manual focus. f2.8 is a great wide open aperture, and makes it fast enough for indoor portrait work.

6 | EF 35-80mm f/4-5.6 III
General lens for mid range photography, at 175g this is the lightest compact zoom EF lens and excellent value. The aspherical element makes it compact and lightweight plus helps obtain high-contrast images.

7 | Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
This is the lightest EF lens of all at a mere 130g, very compact and providing high-performance for a standard lens. Its Gaussian optics provides sharp delineation from near to far focusing distances. The color balance is excellent for a standard lens. A great portrait lens.
8 | Sigma 2x Teleconverter
Great when you need that extra reach - doubling the focal length of my Sigma 50-500 to 1000mm. The new multi layer lens coating and lens design reduce flare and ghost, which is a common problem with digital cameras and also creates an optimum color balance through the entire zoom range.

9 | Electronic shutter release cable
A really useful accessory, my electronic shutter release cable means I can fire the shutter of my camera without touching the body - therefore reducing the risk of camera shake. Ideal for telephoto and macro photography.
10 | Cokin filters
I always carry a selection of filters. Filters can have dramatic effects on your images, some change the mood and feel, whilst others help you to correctly expose a high contrast image. Some are graduated so that only a certain portion of the image is affected.
11 | Lowepro Mini Trekker AW
Lightweight and compact, it can hold a surprising amount of gear. Able to carry a DSLR with an attached lens plus an additional body and 4-6 lenses. A quick release tripod holder allows fast access to tripod and a large front pocket carries small accessories. An All Weather cover keeps the rain off the camera gear.
12 | Olivon TR189 tripod & TRBH-14 head
Made from aluminum alloy the TR189 tripod is sturdy and reliable with low level capability, coupled with the TRBH-14 head I can simply press the trigger and rotate the head smoothly in to position until I locate the subject, then with the release of the trigger the head locks into position perfectly. The grip is extremely solid and stable.
